Computing
The St James’s Computing curriculum follows the ‘Three Pillars of Progression’ covering the strands of: Computer Science, Information Technology and Digital Literacy following a clear path of progression across the year groups. The teaching of online safety is prioritised to ensure pupils understand how to participate safely in the online world. The children develop skills in programming and computational thinking to allow them to meet the challenges of the future and the ever-changing digital workplace. We aim to create creative thinkers who are able to communicate online and be positive contributors.
